*INDIA's name and a sort description on each* INDIA, The name is derived from the name of the Indus(Sindhu River) and has been in use in Greek since Herodotus a king of 4th century BC. The term has appeared in Old English since the 9th century and again in Modern English since the 17th century. BHARAT, According to the Puranas, this country is known as Bharatavarsha after the king Bharata Chakravarti. HINDUSTAN, The name Hind (Persian:هند‎) is derived from the Iranian equivalent of Sindh. ThePersian-stān means "country" or "land". JAMBUDVIPA, Jambudvipa was used in ancient scriptures for the name of India before Bharata became the official name scriptures began using. NABHIVARSHA, According to the Bhagavata Purana, before India was called Bharatvarsha, it was known as Nabhivarsha after King Nabhi Rajah, the son of Agnidhara (ruler of India) and father of Rishabha. TIANZHU, Tianzhu is Chinese name for ancient India, translates roughly to "heaven centre" (i.e. spiritual centre); used especially during the Tang dynasty in reference to the Indian origins of Buddhism. HODU Hodu(Hebrew‏) is the Biblical Hebrew name for India mentioned in the Book of Esther part of Jewish Tanakh and Christian Old Testament. ARYAVARTA, North India (i.e., India north of the Vindhyas) is also known as Āryāvarta (Sanskrit: आर्यावर्त, "abode of the Aryas", where 'Aryas' stands for 'Noble Men'). now REPUBLIC OF INDIA and भारत are the Official names of our country.

दार्जिलिंग में जो तनाव उत्पन्न हुए हैं, इसका असली कारण वहां का असंतुलित विकास और गोरखा समुदाय की पिछले कुछ सालों में की गई अनदेखी है, जिसका फायदा वहां के स्थानीय नेता अपने राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए कर रहे है। प. बंगाल सरकार के बंगाली भाषा को अनिवार्य बनाने के निर्णय ने तो सिर्फ आग में घी डालने का काम किया है। गोरखालैंड अलग राज्य की मांग 100 से भी ज्यादा साल पुरानी है। 1986 में आग एकदम से भड़क उठी थी , जिसमें 1200 से भी ज्यादा लोगों को आहुति देनी पड़ी थी। अब फिर कुछ उसी तरह के नज़ारे दिख रहे, पर यदि वही गलती फिर से हो तो क्या मतलब लोकतंत्र का... पड़ोस में चीन का होना समस्या को और भी ज्यादा गंभीर बना रहा, मतलब ये देश की सुरक्षा से जुड़ा मुद्दा भी है। तो अब बात करते हैं समस्या के समाधान पर। रास्ते सिर्फ दो है, पहला की इंतजार करो, बातचीत करते रहो, क़िस्मत ने साथ दिया तो, आंदोलनकारी फिर से शांत हो जाएंगे; लेकिन एक गलती दोबारा हो इसकी संभावना कम ही होती है। दूसरा कि अलग राज्य की मांग स्वीकार कर ली जाए। इससे परिणाम ये होगा कि वहां GJM संगठन मजबूत हो जाएगा और हो सकता है कि वहां सरकार भी उसकी ही

Is Indian Democracy really in danger?

I'm continuously hearing it for years that our democracy is in danger & particular Ideology & leaders are endangering the democracy. Earlier I just ignored all this bullshit because I believe in what I see directly, I didn't have any historic, philosophic or politic view of all these. Recently the  self declared famous historian Ramchandra Guha raised his concern about this. It made me to think about the situations which made them to think like that. Actually the persons who know very well about the world history & understand the western philosophy , they'll certainly worry about today's situations, because the great philosopher Plato quoted ones " Tyranny naturally arises out of Democracy".  & it became true with the rise of Hitler & Mussolini's Nazism & Fascism . The rise of these dictatorship was the outcome of the misunderstanding the philosophies of philosophers like Machiavelli ( The Prince ).

थोरियम एक बेहतरीन ऊर्जा विकल्प

∆*थोरियम आधारित नाभिकीय ऊर्जा*∆ सम्पूर्ण विश्व में उत्पन्न ऊर्जा संकट से निपटने में भारत सक्षम है। अब तक नाभिकीय विद्युत संयंत्रों में ईंधन के रूप में युरेनियम का उपयोग होता है। युरेनियम के पर्याप्त भण्डार भारत के पास नहीँ है, इसलिए अपनी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए भारत को विदेशों पर आश्रित रहना पड़ता है। यदि यूरेनियम की जगह थोरियम का उपयोग नाभिकीय ईंधन के रूप में किया जाये तो ये अगली सदियों में भारत की ऊर्जा जरूरतों को पूरा करने में सक्षम है(हालांकि थोरियम आधारित संयंत्रों में यूरेनियम की भी थोड़ी आवश्यकता पड़ती है।) आज से सात दशक पहले ही थोरियम से विद्युत उत्पादन की तकनीक विकसित नहीँ होने के कारण निकट भविष्य में इसके उपयोग हेतु भारतीय भंडार सुरक्षित रखने थोरियम निर्यात पर भारत सरकार ने  प्रतिबंध लगाया था। एक अनुमान के मुताबित विश्व में युरेनियम के भंडार से तीन गुना थोरियम का भंडार उपलब्ध है। जिसका करीब 30% हिस्सा भारत के पास संरक्षित है। थोरियम से होने वाली इस ऊर्जा क्रांति और उसमें भारतीय हिस्सेदारी को बहुत पहले ही सर्वप्रथम डॉ. होमी जहाँगीर भाभा ने पहचान लिया था जो भारत के परम
